According to Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, the
seventh-generation iPhone will come with Apple’s new A7 quad core chipset with
2GB of RAM, which will make it as twice as the features of iPhone 5. Reportedly
it will additionally feature a fingerprint sensor for “improving security and
usability”.
A scanner will be available beneath the home
button and will provide the users, particularly enterprise users, with a more
secure and perfect alternative to the pass codes and pattern drawing etc for
accessing their handsets. It is now safer that no one can access the handsets
even if they are in the most unsafe hands. An image recognition feature is also
expected iPhone 5S to further safeguard against interfering eyes, that was
covered in one of Apple’s obvious filings from earlier this year. In this type
of security user is to correctly identify the photo of a contact using voice or
a list of options on the screen, which will be randomly shown on the screen
when attempting to unlock the handset.
